Last year I loved the view from my deck and the serenity that my tiny oasis on the river provided.  In what feels like a few moments, everything will change.  The definition of serenity will have to adjust from a quiet backyard and the sound of rushing water to the hustle of the city and observing it all while sitting on my rooftop.
